Bournemouth and Poole are beautiful places to live, work and visit.  They offer some of the best award winning beaches in the south of England and have the Dorset countryside, Isle of Purbeck and the New Forest only a few miles down the road.

The conurbation has a well-deserved reputation for being one of the most welcoming and inclusive locations in the country, with parts renowned for their thriving cosmopolitan atmosphere. Bournemouth boasts a number of ethnic communities, a sizable lesbian and gay community, and one of the largest international student populations of any town or city in the UK, whilst the conurbation’s reputation as one of the most sought after places to retire continues to be maintained.

The historic town of Poole moreover is important for its British cultural heritage museums and arts venues. The Charminster and Boscombe areas of Bournemouth are in particular celebrated for their extensive world cuisines; whilst Poole is renowned for its traditional British seafood.
